July 27, 2022: There is a new update regarding Bell Canada’s attempted union busting. Read it here (PDF).
Unifor has filed an Unfair Labour Practice complaint with the Canadian Industrial Relations Board (CIRB) over Bell’s actions and also sent letters to the Minister of Labour, Seamus O’Regan and Member of Parliament, Alexandre Boulerice.

Atlantic and Clerical Members Reach Maintenance of Activities Agreement with Bell
February 10, 2022: The Bargaining Committees of Unifor Atlantic Communication Locals (ACL) and Bell Clerical workers have reached a Maintenance of Activities (MOA) agreement with the employer. Bargaining will begin on February 15, 2022 for the Bell Clerical group and on February 18, 2022 for the Bell workers in the Atlantic.

December 7, 2021: Amendments to Bell’s vaccination policy have been evaluated, in particular regarding the filing of grievances over the policy.
Atlantic and Clerical Members United as Bell Delays Release of
November 10, 2021: The company continues to withhold and delay release of information required for negotiations. Additionally, Bell demands that a huge number of members remain at work during any labour dispute.
Bell Aliant and Bell Clerical Negotiations Delayed
October 13, 2021: The kickoff dates for both Bell Clerical and Bell Aliant negotiations are delayed because of the company’s attempt to use the Maintenance of Activities provisions of the Canada Labour Code, 87.4(1), to take away workers’ power.
