Name and description of the hiring department:

Customer Experience, Workforce Management – The Associate Workforce Controller is responsible for building and maintaining the Bell Field Technician schedules based on forecasted load. The role also involves meeting set deadlines, performing research, analysis and adjustments in addition to providing verbal or written responses to stakeholders.

Job Duties / Accountabilities:

  • Build, assign and coordinate the schedules based on forecast
  • Plan and adjust activities based on business needs
  • Input and maintain schedules into ACTION
  • Analyze data and results to produce statistical reports
  • Ensure the integrity of the information to build the reports and schedules
  • Build and maintain technician profiles in CLICK (skills, tools and proficiencies)
  • Update various database applications
  • Communicate with external/internal customers
  • Be proactive in the identification of errors and problems and take action to resolve them
  • Make decisions and take appropriate actions to ensure we are meeting the needs of the customers
  • Payroll Validation SAP vs ACTION – Validate and correct employee time and coordinate with Employee Services

Essential Qualifications / Competencies:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Basic level of MS Excel (filter, sort, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of MS Outlook – Basic level
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new web tools
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with all levels of the company
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload and meet deadlines
  • ACTION, CLICK System

Preferred Qualifications / Competencies:

  • Previous workforce or scheduling experience
  • Good understanding of the Bell collective agreement
  • Good knowledge of SAP P90, IEX
  • Good knowledge of various collective agreements (clerical, technicians and Bell Atlantic)
  • Strong organization and planning skills
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with others (managers, employees, assistants and other departments) over the phone, face to face and written communication
  • Autonomy
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Ability to work well in teams
  • Flexible and tolerant to stress
  • Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)

Working Conditions:

  • Business Hours of Operation: 7:00 am through 5:00 pm Monday to Friday with occasional work required on weekends or holidays
  • Hours of operation are subject to change, based on business needs

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
