Name and description of the hiring department:

The Customer Operations team include a sales team that is accountable to promote a variety of services from residential to wireless products. Our external partners for the segments of Consumer, Virgin, Small Business and EPP answer the customers call in order to promote all of our products across Canada.

Job Duties / Accountabilities:

Trainer / Coach supports the Sales organization performance efforts. They facilitate training and coaching programs to meet operational needs. Trainer / coach works closely with TLs and agents (external) to apply the most effective learning and coaching principles to achieve desired objectives. The objective of the Trainer / coach is to increase employee productivity, foster employee loyalty and develop skills to improve performance, Sales KPI metrics and the quality of the service offered to our customers.

  • Being up to date on all latest content and applications affecting our LOB
  • Provide productivity and quality metrics on a regular basis
  • Build reporting and analyse data to quickly identify performance issues
  • Analyse key indicators and take action as required
  • Organize call NGSS calibration sessions
  • Train and coach the partner’s trainers and leaders
  • Facilitate development clinics for agents and leaders
  • Create activity calendar when required (campaigns, meetings, sessions, clinics…)
  • Provide support when new sites are launching
  • Create sales environment at partner locations
  • Evaluate agent and TL performance through call listening, observation and testing
  • Analyze performance and develop action plans and provide coaching as needed
  • Collaborate with co-workers on best practices in coaching and share with extended teams
  • Meet Sales performance goals

Essential Qualifications / Competencies:

  • Strong sales skills
  • French: fluent in the language with no significant limitation (For Québec only)
  • English: fluent in the language with no significant limitation
  • Focus on performance and results
  • MS Excel intermediate (pivot tables)
  • MS Word, Powerpoint basic
  • Sales call center experience
  • Bilingual
  • Ability to work independently
  • Pay attention to details
  • Ability to build strong relationships with partners
  • Strong communication skills, ability to provide effective coaching and feedback

Preferred Qualifications / Competencies:

  • Deep knowledge of NGSS and Bell’s product and services

Work Conditions:

  • Occasional availability to work evenings and weekends
  • Available to travel
  • May require to work at our partners locations

Bilingualism is required (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
